Download the Music at: http://cdbaby.com/cd/sabrinayoung I created Metamorph for the Women and Identity Festival at the Deep Listening Gallery in Kingston New York, which was under the legendary Pauline Oliveros, who recently passed. The video is actually two videos of my body superimposed on each other, then effects were added. I took the shot from above me, while I moved around in a large beanbag. The end images, after being superimposed and overlayed, with additional color effects, resembled some sort of alien butterfly creature. The original idea was to create four of these and have them all playing simultaneously. However, I only had time for one, which I think was quite successful.  - Composer Sabrina Peña Young Download awesome electronic music at: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/sabrinayoung https://sabrinapenayoung.wordpress.com/ Like this? PHOTO CREDIT: comraderobot.com/tomslatter Piracy has been a hot topic in the music industry since the early days of Napster. With the coming of the Digital Age, the music industry was turned upside down and on its head, then pretty much smacked with a bus and left for dead.  Out of the ashes came a massive Phoenix of millions of indie musicians who, like a pack of rabid zombies, have revolutionized the very definition of music through their devouring of new technology, leaving the old dinosaur gatekeepers in the dust.  The reality is, unless you are Adele or Taylor Swift , connected to a multimillion dollar corporation, you are depending on you, just you, to reach your music fans. The beauty behind this is that you can dictate the price and value of your projects without worrying about a gatekeeper. The downside? Well, be sure to know that you need to find ways to earn income outside of selling music downloads. In many cases, your music is now a marketing tool...

What's so Strange about Metamorph? Artist Transforms her Body into an Alien Butterfly This unique electronica Visual Music animation was created, believe it or not, using a bean bag charge, an overhead shot, and lots and a mirroring filter. When interning with Deep Listening Composer Pauline Oliveros at the Deep Listening Gallery in Kingston, New York, I decided I wanted to create a bizarre work. Lacking props, but having a plethora of bean bags, I decided to create a video using my body. Later I imported the video into Final Cut and applied a mirroring filter and various other filters to create this alien morphing butterfly work.
