Growing up in South Florida , I was always fascinated by the wonders of Disney World . As a child, the Haunted Mansion Ride remained one of my favorites. I even remember losing my Mickey Mouse Hat to a skeleton when I was four. But more than a spooky and fun ride, the Haunted Mansion ride may have fueled my interest in not just the spooky and macabre, but also video tricks, creepy music, and using technology to create an immersive environment .
