" The Walden School is one of America ’s greatest hidden treasures." – Joan Tower , composer The Walden School Creative Musicians Retreat will be held  June 18-26, 2016  on the campus of The Dublin School in Dublin, New Hampshire .  The Walden School seeks composers , improvisers, electronic musicians , performers of new music, choral musicians and music teachers to participate in a week of concerts, composers forums, presentations, and workshops.   Mivos Quartet will be the 2016 ensemble-in-residence and will be available to teach lessons, offer coachings, and workshop and perform pieces by composers at the Festival.  Michael Daugherty , our 2016 Composer-in-Residence , will offer private lessons, lead master classes and will moderate the three composers forums.  There is a pedagogy track and a choral track as well as our performance and composition tracks.   For more information and to download an applicatio...
