Superhero Arts Camp


Ages 6-12In this exciting camp, kids will discover visual art through the lens of comic book superheroes and pop art. Campers will create mixed media art, design and create their own superhero costumes, make a superhero flip book, design comic book panels, enjoy movement activities and create colorful pop art. Camp activities are from 9-1. Students may be dropped off early at 8:30 and engage in quiet board games and art activities until 9. Students will need to bring a nut-free prepackaged snack for snack time at 10:30 and an optional lunch to eat at 12:30. An art supply fee of $15 needs to be paid to the instructor on the first day of camp. This will cover any art supplies for your child.

Ages 6-12In this fun camp, kids will explore multicultural art and music from Africa, Asia, Australia, and Latin America. Activities include musical movement, painting Japanese art, playing African drums, making Australian Dream Paintings, making Latin American instruments, singing songs in other languages, and many more exciting cultural activities especially designed to celebrate and explore our world. Camp activities are from 9-1. Students may be dropped off early at 8:30 and engage in quiet board games and art activities until 9. Students will need to bring a nut-free prepackaged snack for snack time at 10:30 and an optional lunch to eat at 12:30. An art supply fee of $12 needs to be paid to the instructor on the first day of camp. This will cover any art and music supplies for your child.

Award-winning composer Sabrina Young has over twenty years of arts education experience. She directed the nationally recognized ArtREaCH program for homeless students in South Florida, has taught in numerous art and music camps through the United States, and has been trained to work with special needs and at-risk children. She has a passion for music and the arts that is contagious. Her energy and enthusiasm makes each class engaging and fun for each individual child.
