The characters are meant to be futuristic and a bit strange and the set is dystopian. I am using the color palette from 2001: A Space Odyssey as a guide. Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts - Artist Residency

The Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, located in  Nebraska City, NE offers from fifty to sixty juried  residencies per year to  visual artists , writers, composers, and interdisciplinary  artists from across the country and around the world. The Center accommodates up to five artists at a time for stays that vary from two to eight weeks. Each resident is provided with private bedroom, private bathroom, their own studio space, fully equipped kitchen and a weekly $100 stipend for the duration of their stay. All residents are selected by a discipline-specific panel of professionals with decisions based on the quality of the proposal and the support materials submitted.  Nebraska artists and those transitioning from graduate school receive special consideration. A few more super quick tips: 1) Save, save, and SAVE again! And before you embark on a radical change to your computer animation, save it under a different name. 2) Remember that RENDERING (essentially the process of computing all the information to create an animation) takes a lot of time. 3) Check your animation before rendering a full version of your piece. You can do this with wireframe, rendering versions without textures/shadows, etc., and rendering out video at smaller resolutions and sizes. 4) Figure out what your computer can handle and work within those limits. You will learn more through working on hours of simple animations , than working forever on making sure that two seconds of a highly reflective object shines right because your computer cannot han...
