2019 International Women’s Brass Conference Composition Competition  Submissions will be accepted starting  September 1, 2018 Deadline for submissions is  December 1, 2018 Winner announced by  March 15, 2019 Prize: $1,500 BACKGROUND The International Women’s Brass Conference commissions works from women composers for its biannual conference . For the 2019 conference, the committee has decided to make the solo category into a competition. Submitted works should be for solo tuba (unaccompanied or with piano and/or electronics) and be programmable for an undergraduate college-level recital.
