BMI’s Music & Film: The Creative Process event took place on Tuesday, January 27 at the Sundance Filmmaker Lodge. This informative conversation, which is a cornerstone event at the Festival, was moderated by BMI Vice President of Film/TV Relations Doreen Ringer-Ross and explored the role of music in film. Focusing on the relationship between composer and director, panelists discussed what goes into creating a successful film score, the ingredients of an effective composer/director relationship, the Sundance Film Festival experience and other exciting topics.
