As many of my music fans know, I have been working on an animated electronic opera for over two years. The end results is an exciting animated feature that stars talented musicians throughout the United States who volunteered (yes volunteered) their amazing musical talents for this insane sci-fi musical dream I had three years ago.
Music production has come to a close, and TV/Film composer Patrick Rundbladh at P & R Music Productions is mastering the final Libertaria Cast Album. Up to this point, the opera has been produced entirely online, with cast and crew volunteering their work in music and animation, and the random odd musical job funding the opera production.
We have 17 hours left for the Libertaria Opera Kickstarter Campaign! For $1 opera fans will receive an Early Bird full Libertaria Cast Album download. For a $2 pledge, opera fans have Associate Producer credit in the film, and get both the film and the album, plus all kinds of extras. There are all types of exciting rewards, like autographed DVDs, handwritten sheet music, and a handmade Libertaria Uggy doll (and boy, is it UGGY!).
When I created Libertaria I wanted to make an opera that would exist outside of the concert hall. I wanted to make an opera that could be shared instantly and globally online, that reached out to a broader audience, that broke ground as a true 21st century opera. Libertaria is all of that and more. Crowdfunding the cast album seemed a logical step, a
chance to have fans become a part of the project for a couple of bucks.
For someone that really wants an authentic piece of Libertaria history, my #1 fan can have the one and only Libertaria sketch book that contains the journaled plot ideas, lyrics, and storyboards for Libertaria.
We have 17 hours left before the campaign closes. If you love music, technology, sci-fi, or just want to help make a dream a reality, please take a moment to support Libertaria: The Virtual Opera.
Thank you so much for visiting! I'd love to hear about your latest crowdfunding project or music endeavor! So share a note in the comments below! :) - Sabrina
