In part five I will be teaching you how to have amass fans and attention on the 2nd largest search engine in the world. More than one billion unique users visit YouTube every month, viewing more than four billion hours of video. Every single day, nearly twelve years of content is uploaded (in the video I say 8 years and this has changed!)
YouTube is also the second largest online search engine (after Google). Back in 2006, Google bought YouTube for $1.65 billion. So, YouTube now operates as a subsidiary of Google, therefore YouTube videos appear high in Google search results.
YouTube is an interactive social network just like all the others. It’s an important site to include in your social media arsenal. Making friends, leaving comments, and “thumbing up” videos are key moves.
One of the main reasons you need to get to know YouTube is that your video will serve as a critical piece of your crowdfunding campaign, so the more skilled you become at shooting and posting videos and the bigger your presence on YouTube, the better chance of having your campaign video seen in this network. Action Sheet 5 will teach you hot to Set Up Your YouTube Channel.
Your Music Video Probably Won't Go Viral
Before I dive in I want to say something important: Don’t be obsessed with big view numbers or going “viral.” Your goal with YouTube is to get your crowd watching and commenting on your videos while you attract new people to your crowdfunding campaign, product, or service. Your video may not be as popular as a cat playing the piano or the latest YouTube celebrity — but if it reaches your crowd, and it’s something they watch and share, then you’ve done your job. You will of course need to know some effective YouTube Video Marketing Tips and that's what Action Sheet 5.1 will teach.
